Anybody using Gadget Labs 8/24 with Sonar

I have the interfasce and have not been able to get it to work. I am confused how to set it up.

maybe you can. I cannot get the PC to recognize the card. I have tried XP no luck. I tried Win2k no luck. I am now going to try Win98. I read on a couple of Gadget labs forums that the drivers are impossible to get. Also do i have to jumper between my existing sound card or not. Yes it is a soundcard also. That is what the 8 outputs are. You can hook powered speakers to any of the outs, then inside the recording program tell it which outputs to use on the card. You can leave the PC soundcard in the machine, no problem. I use my computer soundcard for mixing. Winston

Ron, win98 drivers were solid before they went bankrupt. I still keep one on a win98 system, but don't use it much anymore. win98 driver is here:

click on the 'drivers' link at the left.

There wasn't much success by third parties at writing an xp driver, but a guy named 'mostek' gave it all he had. You can read here:

Start at the bottom of the page and go up. I don't think they ever got xp to see it as an 8x8 card, but maybe I'm behind.

Thanx guys. I built a Win98 PC and got it up and running. I bought a copy of Cool Edit Pro because my Sonar doesn't run on Win98. I messed with it last night and i am getting great tracks. I am thrilled. CEP does most of what Sonar does as far as my needs go. I just need a better mixer so i can control the 8 tracks individually.
FINALLY!!! It only took 1 1/2 years to figure it out....LOL....
