I usually rely on the onboard spring verb in my amp for the heavy lifting. I do have an older MIJ boss DD-3 that I use as a single loud slap-back in lieu of reverb (Mostly for fast stuff, or songs where I play more of a riff instead of fills). I also have a Boss RV-3 that is have set to a Plate verb + Delay combo for more spacey/soundscape stuff. However if left to my own devices for too long, I will find an odd stompbox lying around and plug it in just for fun. In this way, I recently discovered that the JHS oil can echo i've got sounds quite righteous on steel with its cattywampus modulation.

I’ve been using a Keely Caverns Reverb and Delay pedal at church for the last 3 years. It works great for me.
