Why is the E9 on the front neck and the C6 on the back?

Well I got my Fender 2000 around a week ago. To my pleasant surprise, the back neck was set up with the standard C6 setup including the three pulls on pedals 5 and 8. That means that the E9 neck is going to be on the front neck which complicates putting knee levers on a little bit.
