Uni or C6 with a TT12 Speaker

Post by Derrick Phillips »

Hey guys, I’m looking to get a TT 12 speaker to use with the tone block 202.

Anyone play a TT 12 with C6 or universal tuning?

How do you like the response of the lower strings?

I have TT12 in my Nashville 112, And it sounds great with C6. Not as good as my 15" Black Widow 1502, but still very good.
Carter D10 8p/7k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup, Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112, Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open G slide and regular G tuning guitar) .

Playing for 55 years and still counting.

Great. I just bought one to put in an oversized Mesa cab. I’ll report back!

I have a TT12 Quilter combo and am quite happy with it. I A/B ed it with a Peavey 112 and definitely prefer it (for a lot more money, of course.)
It would need a big club or a big band before you would have an issue the board guy couldn't fix.
Less equipment, more practice.
