meh.. did not care for that live ACL version,, No Moon on the intro, he's not up in the mix enough as he usually is, and on the studio version the first three notes he plays in the steel intro grab your ears tight and hang on for the entire song.. This version is lower energy than the studio cut.. the female backup singer looks like she's ready for a nap. and a piano on this particular song??? once again, meh,,,. The studio cut is perfection, and you can't improve on perfection I guess..bob

There are other live versions on YT that are better than the ACL version. Still not as good as the original in my opinion, but Moon is more prominent, and there is better energy all around.. and oh yeah, no piano!...Here's an interesting live version with Mark Chestnutt.. I don't know who the steel player is, but he is using a short scale Fender 400!
