When micing your amp where do you place the mic for the brightest sound.
'70 D10 Black fatback Emmons PP, Hilton VP, BJS 3 1/2” long bar, Boss GE-7 for Dobro effect, Zoom MS50G, Quilter Toneblock 202 and Quilter TT 15 cab with JBL K130, Joyo Ebow.

The brightest sound would be right in the center of the speaker. Many place the mic off center to cut down on shrillness and ear-splitting highs.
