Dating SN on MSA Classic

I just rescued this lonely old MSA S-10 5x4 from GC with Bud Carter’s Herbie Hancock and SN 1C 2111 stamped underneath.

Any info on its manufacture and/or a point in the right direction for information on this era of builds?

I'd guess it to be early 'in 74, around February or March.

Thanks Donny! I’m still working on cleaning and getting it set up but there was a pretty looking guitar under all the dust and bar smoke.

Probably a 1974 guitar, I'd guess it being made around August of that year.
