Thinking outside of the box is a Randy Beavers trademark. Maybe it's from breathing too much sheetrock dust. Way to go, Randy!

What make of guitar was he playing. I've never seen a guy keep his head so still while listening to music.
I guess he must have been tapping his feet like he should have been nodding his napper.

Bill thanks for posting this one. This is the first time I have ever seen Randy play. If wasn't for your video's we wouldn't get to see some of the greats like Randy play. Thanks again. Keep em coming.

I feel pretty lucky. I have heard a lot of Randy's music and I have seen him play live a number of times. I have taken part in many discussions with Randy about pedal steel guitar and related topics in the www.steelguitarchatroom.com . He may not know it, but he has taught and inspired me quite a bit. I have gone from 0 to playing PSG every weekend with good bands making decent wages in just 15 months. Definitely one of the guys I look up to.

Randy's playing is great, the only thing missing from this posting is also getting to hear his killer tone. Getting to see and hear Randy live is a treat not to be missed.

After seeing and listening to Randy playing, only one word comes to mind...........WOW!
I recieved a personal email from Randy's mom a while back in reference to a post I had made. Take it from me, SHE is his biggest fan and you could tell she was very, very proud of her boy!! I sent the letter to Randy.....hope he got it.
Very nice job on Workin Man Blues!! I can't even come that close on my Tele. Oh well, back to practice, practice, practice....
