Working Man Blues - Randy Beavers on YouTube
Back in 2000, Randy made his first appearance on the Smoky Mountain Jamboree. As you will see, his style is very unique.
If you don't have Randy's current albums, you are missing the boat.

I feel pretty lucky. I have heard a lot of Randy's music and I have seen him play live a number of times. I have taken part in many discussions with Randy about pedal steel guitar and related topics in the www.steelguitarchatroom.com . He may not know it, but he has taught and inspired me quite a bit. I have gone from 0 to playing PSG every weekend with good bands making decent wages in just 15 months. Definitely one of the guys I look up to.
Thanks Bill for posting this clip.
Thanks Randy for just being you.

Randy is one of my favorite players too.
I wonder if he ever completed his CD
that he was working on a few months back?
I checked his website and its not working.

After seeing and listening to Randy playing, only one word comes to mind...........WOW!
I recieved a personal email from Randy's mom a while back in reference to a post I had made. Take it from me, SHE is his biggest fan and you could tell she was very, very proud of her boy!! I sent the letter to Randy.....hope he got it.
Very nice job on Workin Man Blues!! I can't even come that close on my Tele. Oh well, back to practice, practice, practice....
