2/4 and 4/4 country bass

Post by Wade Romonosky »

I'm looking for a real band style that offers both 2/4 and 4/4 in the same patch using part A and B. Does anyone have any ideas.

Do you mean changing from straight time to walking bass. I don't know of a style that does that, but you should be able to figure out a work around buy changing styles mid-song, changing real track instruments, using a midi bass track and doing some changes, etc...

Wade,
I've been looking for the same thing. I switch from A to B and sometimes it changes and sometimes not. A few times it did the walking 4/4 but only in the jazz samples.

Hard to believe that BIB hasn't made this happen yet.

Yes, I want a bass line that plays on 1 and 3 for the a part and on 1 2 3 4 for the b part. I thought about changing styles but with what I've found so far the drums are too different to do that without it standing out. There were some style in the midi section that will do that so you would think biab would make it happen with real styles.
