Anyone try this ?

Amplifiers, effects, pickups, electronic components, wiring, etc.

Latency for pretty much all of the POD devices is greater than 17ms, or the equivalent of moving your amp or stage monitor another 18-20 feet farther away from you in addition to the roughly 1ms per foot of air travel time between the speaker and your ears. If using headphones or IEM's this is the equivalent of placing your amp on the other side of a good sized stage. Some folks don't find this an issue but for me it's a deal breaker, as I want to hear the snap when my fingers strike the strings.

20+ years ago when a PODxt was my main front end gigging rig, I got one of these minis on a whim. I could not find any setting that wasn't very noisy (hiss) and basically, well, bad.
Now, I fully expect that their technology has evolved a lot in those years so this comment is barely even relevant....

Several years ago when I needed a headphone practice amp I tried the Line 6 pocket pod but found it pretty much worthless for steel. Had much better luck with the Digitech RP360.

I bought one about a month ago and have about six gigs on it. I really like it so far. However, I'm using just the effects right now going into a amp so haven't really messed with the modeling too much. It has a built in looper and tuner and the effects sound really nice. It's small and light, just what I was looking for.
