Lady Be Good:twin steels Flavio Pasquetto and Ethan Shaw

Post by Ethan Shaw »

It's been so great having Flavio Pasquetto here in Austin for a little while! He's the featured guest on the next "Raising the Bar", my show on steelradio. That show will debut Friday, 5/3@3pm CT. If you're in the Austin area, come check him out and say farewell before he heads back to Rome at his show Monday, 4/29@Sam's Town Point. Here's another clip from the impromptu show we did together on his trip here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DAgcV-timDk

Nice picking, Ethan. I enjoyed your music. My dad used to play that tune on the piano. He was a music teacher and a WWII veteran. He liked and played all the big band music.

Thanks, y'all! Larry, my grandpa was a WWII vet, and it was probably at my grandparents' house that I first heard all that music that I love. (Plus Pink Floyd from my dad, haha!)
