Cuba Cowboy " CHINO LOPEZ " from Lucerne Valley, California passed away 5/30/2024 around 9:16 Pm. Chino was the Founder of the Traditional Country Music Band the LAST RIDE. Not too long ago we did a video at Buck Owens Grave site in Bakersfield to Honor Buck Owens, Toby Keith & Fran Boyd with Freddie Hart's song " I just Took A Trip Too Heaven ". After wards Chino said to me. Man Leo, I wish I could have met them in person Buck Owens, Toby Keith. How He Chino Lopez is in Heaven with all. RIP Chino. We don't know why Face Book took this Video off my Face book Page. aka SwampWater Fox Uncle " LE bleeping O" Leo as Toby Keith would call me.

I am shocked, I played a SHOW AT THE 247 CLUB and Thursday he was sick. RIP Chino. He always kind and generous. I am proud to have known him and he always loved the pedal steel.
