Goodrich pedal crackle
I bought a new goodrich pedal maybe a year or so ago but it has developed a crackle at a certain spot in the throw. It is inaudble when playing live, but when I have gone to record, it is defintely noticeable. I've sprayed the crap out of it with contact cleaner multiple times but it hasn't gone away. Do i need to take it apart and clean it more thoroughly? perhaps replace the pot? Would be frustrating if this was the case as I bought it new not that long ago. I'm not super electronically inclined so just wondering if anyone has fixed this in the past and could give some guidance?

If deOxit doesn't do the job a new pot is in your future. Tom Bradshaw will have Dunlop 500kA pots if he's still in business.

FYI, yes, Tom is still in business. I visited with him online just today.
A link to his site is here: https://steelguitarbradshaw.com/potentiometers/
The other option is to contact Kevin and the fine fellas at Goodrich for their analysis of the condition. 1 year, that's unusual for a pot to fail IMO.
