Wanting to change knee levers - not copedent; the levers themselves.

Post by Landon Johnson »

I am the proud owner of Emmons S-10 SN 1429S; 3P4K.
Had the chance to sit at a Sho-Bud recently and fell in love with the teardrop levers
Is there a way to install these or similar levers on my S-10, which has the standard black ones currently?
If so, where might I find such a thing other than a 3D print?

Thanks!

Here on the forum, One of our members Barry Coker. Makes many replacement parts for guitars. He makes Sho-bud parts. Including the tear drop knee levers. He may be able to make a set of tear drop levers, That would attach to standard Emmons hardware.
You may want to contact Mr. Coker, To discuss this as a project.

I agree with Bobby adapting or designing a knee lever from the Sho-bud era over to Emmons hardware, Barry is more than capable.

I will jump in here and say I have never Made tear drop knees for an Emmons but since the Big "E" was part of both why not I make a replacement Tear drop to replace the later straight ones there a little thicker on the contact area and can probably be adapted.
