OK - recently picked up an older Remington - mica with pearl inlays. The body is in fine shape and there are no cracks in the inlays, but they seem to have shrunk a bit and are slightly inset now.

I'd imagine these have just dried out over the years, and I'm sure at some point it will crack. Is there a way to keep that from happening, possibly flowing in some UV resin to fill it so it's flush with the mica?

Any thoughts?
