All the best to him, Mike. Anyone who's heard Vance's music is much better for the experience. I hope he knows there are so many people wishing him well.

I hope all works out with Vance- a Steeler pal of mine just sent me a copy of "Brisbane Bop" the collection of stuff Vance recorded onstage with Jimmy Rivers in the Early '60s and I am totally knocked out. Truly inspiring playing, all live bandstand stuff and lots of fun. Best of Luck to you, Vance
