Buddy Charlton has to have the fastest pair of hands at the time of his playing with the Texas Troubadours. Fantastically Fast.....

The Troubadours were thirty years ahead of their time...Wonderful music.....Thanks Bill Ferguson for sharing all this wonderful music with the Steeler's...........

Steve Chapman is no slouch either. Tubb always had the best musicians.

I think Buddy Charltons hands were the fastest his ever were during his years with Tubb.As for having the fastest hands during that era.He wasn't even close.

Still great playing for the era.And my thanks to Bill for going to all the trouble it takes to share these little gems with us.

Bill, thanks for another good video. The Texas Troubadours was the reason I have so many Ernest Tubb Albums today. I think Buddy Charleton and Steve Chapman are Super Pickers....as this video shows.

Anyone know what was the Amp that Buddy Charlton was using during these years. That tone is outstanding. I know the ShoBud is noted for that but the question of the amp keeps coming up and any other equipment as well. Thanks.

I always wanted to wear a uniform and a hat like they did. I just knew I would play better. BTW the reason they wore their hats the way they did was so they could ride three in a pickup. Love it. Bobby

I sure do miss ET and the boys! Anyone notice a couple of bar slants nearing the end of the song? I could be wrong.
